The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in the Fall 2023 semester. The department is interested in the fields listed above as they apply to economic policy. Applied research in microeconomics, resource and environmental economics, regional economics, or economic growth and experience with structural econometric modeling is highly valued. The incumbent will be expected to develop a recognized research program within their area of specialty. Both fresh and seasoned candidates are welcome to apply.

A PhD in Economics is required. ABD candidates will be considered, but Degree must be completed by August 15, 2023.

Our department values research and we provide summer research support and a 2-2 teaching load for the first two years, with continuance of the teaching load subject to quality research output. In addition to research, responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. A proven ability to teach is essential. Our department consists of a diverse faculty with high quality research in a broad range of fields and frequently engages with research and policy issues at the local, regional and national levels.
