The Economics Department seeks a broadly trained economist whose first priority is excellence in undergraduate teaching and who wants to pursue a career in a liberal arts setting for a one-year visiting appointment academic year 2014-15. The successful applicant can expect to teach four 3 credit hour course sections each semester for a total of eight sections over the year. These courses will average 20-27 students each and will include principles of macroeconomics and principles of microeconomics plus at least one of the following: intermediate macroeconomics and corporate finance. In addition, there is the possibility of teaching an applied course or courses. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated strong commitment to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in an academic setting.
