The College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University announces a term assistant professor position in economics for the 2014-2015 academic year. The teaching load of six undergraduate courses will include a one-semester Introduction to Economics, an Introduction to Econometrics, and courses in the area of the candidates expertise (with preference given to candidates who can teach a course in Financial Institutions and Markets or International Economics). The successful candidate will be committed to the ideals of liberal arts education, active engagement and advising of students, and high quality teaching. Candidates with Ph.D. in hand are preferred, advanced ABD will be considered.

The College of Saint Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, and Saint John's University, a liberal arts college for men, are located four miles apart in Central Minnesota just outside metropolitan St. Cloud and 70 miles from Minneapolis. Both are Catholic colleges in the Benedictine tradition, which emphasize quality teaching and a commitment to intercultural learning.
