The New England Public Policy Center, an applied research unit in the Research Department, seeks an experienced empirical microeconomist. The economist will be expected to conduct research and advise policy leaders on public policies pertinent to the six-state New England region. Requirements include a Ph.D. in economics, demonstrated research capability, and strong written and oral communications skills. Demonstrated interest in labor market issues is highly desirable. Salary will be commensurate with background and experience.
Fields: Labor and Demographic Economics; Health, Education, and Welfare; Public Economics; Urban, Rural, and Regional Economics.
