The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor position for its new and rapidly-growing B.S. in Real Estate program. Appointments are for nine months, and are renewable annually based on performance.

We seek a talented professional who can blend practical and theoretical background to help guide as well as teach real estate finance and economics courses. Candidates who have earned a Ph.D. in real estate, real estate finance, urban economics or a related discipline by August 2014 are preferred. Desirable teaching qualifications include: evidence of excellence in teaching, excellent verbal and communication skills, interest in a highly collaborative faculty environment, experience in and enthusiasm to teach both face-to-face and online classes, and experience in curriculum planning and development, all at the undergraduate level.

NYU Schack is one of several comprehensive academic divisions within the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS), the NYU home for study and applied research related to key knowledge-based industries where the New York region leads globally. The NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate currently offers three Masters programs: in Real Estate, Construction Management and Real Estate Development; and offers hundreds of courses and over thirty week-long intensive courses in its noncredit program.
