The Bureau of Business Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is currently seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to: 1) participate in developing models of internal migration within the United States; 2) develop periodic reports about the national and Nebraska economy, 3) participate in developing responses to Requests for Proposals, and 4) conduct original economic research.

The position is available for the 2014-2015 academic year (planned hire date is August 15, 2014) with the potential to extend the position for one additional academic year depending on the interests of the candidate and the needs of the Bureau of Business Research.

Requires a Ph.D. in economics or a related field; or a Ph.D. expected by August 2014. A year of experience conducting economic research on applied microeconomics topics or internal migration is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
