The Ivey Energy Policy and Management Centre at the Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada, invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. The position is available from July 1, 2014 for either a two or three year period.

The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will work collaboratively with the Director of the Centre and affiliated faculty to conduct research on energy sector policy and business issues. In addition, the Fellow will be expected to assist with organizing Centre conferences, public communications, and applied research projects. Candidates should either have recently completed a Ph.D. or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. The candidate's research focus should relate to energy policy or management. Topics may include regulation, political economy of energy, energy markets, international energy trade, power generation, renewable energy, smart grid technology, pipelines, oil and gas, or hydraulic fracturing. Disciplinary training should be in economics, business, or political science. Candidates should possess strong empirical research skills as demonstrated by doctoral work or publications. Prior employment experience in the energy sector or related industries is an advantage. Compensation will be highly competitive.
