Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Economics Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, seeks applicants for multiple non-tenure lecturer positions beginning August 2014. The teaching load will be a maximum of 3 courses per semester, with a maximum of 3 separate course preparations per academic year. Minimum qualifications are ABD and 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Experience teaching large classes (enrollment over 200) and/or a "blended" learning format is desired. All fields will be considered. Initial contract period will be for nine months with renewal subject to review of candidate's performance and available budgetary resources.
