The University of New Hampshire (UNH) seeks an accomplished and visionary leader to become Dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. The best candidates will have outstanding records of achievement in higher education, research, and public service. A terminal degree in an appropriate field is expected. Successful candidates must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and work effectively with faculty, students, staff, and administrators within the University as well as with diverse constituencies outside the University.

UNH, located in Durham, New Hampshire, is the flagship undergraduate, graduate, and research institution of the University System of New Hampshire. UNH holds land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant chartersand is the only comprehensive public research doctoral-granting institution in New Hampshire. The University enrolls 14,000 students, has a full-time faculty of 600, and offers over 95 undergraduate and 68 graduate programs in eight colleges.

The Paul College is an AACSB-accredited institution housed in a new building with state-of-the art technology and laboratories. The College includes six departments and six research and outreach centers. The College offers undergraduate programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management. Graduate programs include full-time, part-time, and online MBA programs, an Executive MBA program, a master's program in accounting, and master's and Ph.D. programs in economics. There are approximately 2,200 undergraduate students and over 250 graduate students enrolled. There are 59 tenure-track faculty members and 19 full-time lecturers, and another nine more tenure-track faculty members are expected to join the College in fall 2014.

The Dean of the Paul College provides leadership to the faculty and staff in all matters contributing to the continued growth of the College, including strategic planning, fund raising, accreditation, curriculum enhancement and program development, recruitment and retention of faculty and staff, assessment and evaluation, and research and scholarship.
