Established in 1992, the KEI is a leading environmental policy research institute in Korea, consisting of Environmental Economy & Policy Research Group, Environmental Assessment Group, Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change, and Global Strategy Center. As part of the Korea Council of Economic and Social Research Institutes under the Prime Minister's Office, it strives to identify policy solutions on ongoing environmental issues, with research areas encompassing climate change, environmental health, resource circulation, water and land environment, and environmental impact assessment.

The Korea Environment Institute invites applications for research fellow positions in the above areas. Applicants must possess, or be a candidate for, a Ph.D. in economics, and the positions require fluency in Korean.
