The Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences at The Ohio State University has a postdoctoral fellowship program for members of groups historically underrepresented in the American professoriate. Applicants must be US citizens with all requirements for a Ph.D. completed by August, 2014. Preference will be given to individuals within five years of degree. Appointments are intended for two years and begin 9/1/14, with reappointment for the second year contingent upon successful performance review. Fellowships provide a $40,000 annual stipend, medical benefits, and some travel and research expense support.
Application Instructions:

Application requirements: (1) Identify one or more tenured faculty members within the Economics department who could serve as a host/mentor; (2) a CV; (3) a one-page dissertation abstract; (4) a statement outlining the specific research proposed to be undertaken during the Fellowship period, and the significance of that research (four-page limit, double-spaced); (5) a personal statement describing the applicant's background and commitment to the goal of diversity in higher education (three-page limit, double-spaced). All of these materials should be submitted in a single .zip formatted file. Please name the zip file using your first and last name (e.g., JaneSmith.zip). In addition, three letters of recommendation should be submitted via email.
