The Department of Economics, Ajou University invites applicants for two assistant professor positions in Economics, starting from March 2014 or September 2014. This position is a full time, non-tenure-track appointment with nominal teaching load of five courses per academic year. We are open to any field in Economics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics before taking up the position. Candidates should have fluency in English. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications (Range: from 45,000,000 to 64,000,000 KRW / approximately from 42,400 to 60,200 USD). Housing support, health insurance and other benefits will be provided. We will review all the applications received by the deadline in December and we will interview the candidates at the ASSA meeting in Philadelphia.

Ajou University is located at Suwon, which is one of the biggest cities in Korea, within a half-hour drive from Seoul.
