St. Ambrose University invites applications, nominations and inquiries for Dean of the College of Business. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, the Dean serves as the academic officer of the College providing leadership and oversight for strategic, academic and administrative affairs of the College. The University seeks a visionary leader who is able to build upon on the college's achievements and to further its mission of equipping students for success in a global environment.

College of Business offers academic programs that feature small classes, excellent internship opportunities, and highly qualified faculty who are committed to teaching excellence and a wide range of research interests. The undergraduate program provides students the opportunity to complete majors in management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, international business and several areas in communication. Graduate programs include master's degrees in accounting, business administration, organizational leadership and a doctorate in business administration. College of Business enrolls approximately 500 undergraduate and 350 graduate students. The College is comprised of 48 faculty and administrative staff, and over 85% of the full-time faculty members hold doctoral degrees.

Successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in a related field, although applicants with an exceptional leadership background without a terminal degree will be considered; a record of demonstrated leadership including significant collaborative accomplishments; an understanding of challenges facing business and higher education; outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills; and significant experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including area businesses.
