Located in Guangzhou, the third largest city in China and about 75 miles north of Hong Kong, Jinan University is a highly prestigious research university and is one of the greatest pioneers in business education of China. The Department of Accounting at School of Management of Jinan University offers undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. programs in accounting and finance. Faculty research focuses on corporate governance and disclosure, investment decisions, behavioral finance and accounting, corporate social responsibility, and strategic management accounting.
Applications are invited for faculty positions at all ranks at the Department of Accounting. All accounting- and finance-related research disciplines will be considered. Applicants should possess a PhD in accounting, finance, economics, or related field by the time of appointment and should have the potential to publish in international journals. Applicants for higher ranks are expected to have a strong publication record. We offer competitive salary and benefits commensurate with the applicant’s background.
