Compass Lexecon provides state of the art economic research capabilities that combine the academic, private-sector, and public-sector expertise of in-house economists and academic affiliates.

We are currently seeking full-time economist and econometrician candidates for our Boston, MA; Brussels, Belgium; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Chicago, IL; London, UK; Los Angeles - Century City, CA; Madrid, Spain; New York, NY; Oakland, CA; Paris, France; Pasadena, CA; Princeton, NJ; and Washington, DC offices. Ideal candidates would possess a PhD., M.B.A., or Masters with a major in economics or a related field from an esteemed university; and have strong analytical and quantitative skills. Senior economists and economists are involved in all phases of case work including:

- Identifying key economic and financial issues
- Assisting with the formulation of case strategy
- Applying academic research to client issues
- Formulating economic and financial models
- Conducting empirical studies
- Performing quantitative and qualitative research
- Working with datasets and programming in statistical software such as SAS, STATA, or MatLab
- Collaborating on case teams
- Managing aspects of projects and supervising and advising junior staff
- Assisting senior staff or academic case experts
- Meeting with clients to present concise explanations of complex analyses

All candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Relevant academic, government or consulting experience is preferred, not required.
