Founded in 1952, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, which is among the best Chinese cities to work and live. SWUFE is one of the national key universities affiliated with the Ministry of Education in China specializing in economics and business education, with 16,000 undergraduate and 5,000 graduate students. Over the last two years, the university has recruited more than 100 faculty members who obtained PhDs abroad.

Founded in July 2010, SWUFE China Research Center for Educational Outcomes (CEO), based on the traditional competitive edge in economics and management of SWUFE, is currently the first and only institute focusing on the major theoretical and practical issues on education supply and demand of China.
