The American Economic Association's Committee on the Status of LGBTQ+ Individuals in the Economics Profession (CSQIEP) has established an annual award for the best published economics research paper in LGBTQ+ Economics.

CSQIEP is committed to building an economics profession that is open to all, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, family status, or disability and believes that a diverse profession encourages the highest quality scholarship. 

Eligibility

We invite papers on topics especially relevant to or about LGBTQ+ populations that are published (or forthcoming) in 2021 or 2022. The nominated paper must be published (or forthcoming) in a peer reviewed journal, or if in the format of a book, a recognized academic press. The nominated paper must use or innovate on methodologies recognized by the economics discipline. Self-nominations by the authors are more than welcome.
