Institute for Research on Poverty (IRP)


This Institute is a non-partisan, nonprofit research center that focuses on the issues surrounding social inequality and poverty in the United States. Current research examines welfare reform and the development of a new poverty measure. The publications of the IRP are available for download here, and information on ordering the print versions is also available. The site also provides information about the Institute, staff and affiliates, and links to poverty-related resources.
