Statement of Purpose/Status

Statement of Purpose

In addition to 14 years of direct professional experience in implementing economic regulation and pro-competition policies, I hold a Master's degree in Energy Economics and a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree from University of Cambridge (UK).

I have consistently demonstrated an ability to rise to any challenge I must face and an extraordinary record of academic and professional achievement, evident by more than 20 papers in respected international academic journals, research-based reports prepared for inter-governmental organizations (e.g. OECD and IAEA), and many other accomplishments.

With my extensive academic and professional experience on regional and global energy markets and a Ph.D. degree from University of Cambridge, I have already equipped myself with tools necessary to become a first-class researcher/economist. A senior level position at a prestigious institution will provide me with the necessary environment not only to deepen my knowledge but also to get new perspectives.
