I transferred away from UC, San Diego to Cornell this academic year, and I'm feeling some level of regret. That said, Cornell is a fantastic institution, with wonderful courses and professors. I'm taking a great class that I love, called The Economics of Food & Malnutrition, with a professor, John Hodinott. I recently decided I love economics, and that I would like to profess and research. I received a transfer option to Cornell out of high school and it was always my intent to finish in New York. To contextualize some more, I'm a current Cornell Hotelie, weighing my paths forward to an economics education. At UCSD I have more relevant credits and could finish my degree 15 months earlier than at Cornell (half way through my junior year). As industry experts where would you land? Thank you for considering my question, and I do hope it's relevant for this forum.
