The Faculty of Social Sciences includes nine academic units, 250 professors, and 10,000 students. It offers bilingual, interdisciplinary programs and is recognized nationally and internationally for research excellence and policy impact. The Faculty secured $18.4M in research funding last year, with 52% from Tri-Council agencies, and holds 30 research and university chairs.
The University seeks a Dean of Social Sciences to lead strategic vision, research, teaching, and partnerships. Candidates must hold a doctorate, be appointable as full professor, bilingual, and demonstrate inclusive leadership.
