The University of Nottingham Ningbo China seeks to appoint a Professor in Economics within its School of Economics. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished specialist in macroeconomics, trade, or international economics, passionate about teaching, curriculum development, and research.
Responsibilities include contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, leading the School’s think tank, the Centre for Global Economic Policy, and playing a key role in school and university strategic planning and administration.
Candidates must possess a PhD in Economics, a strong international research record, and excellent English communication skills. The position involves teaching, research leadership, major project management, developing new research opportunities, course design, and supporting junior faculty.
Initial contracts are for five years, with possibility of extension, offering competitive salary, benefits, and relocation support.
