The Department of Economics and Business at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia invites applications for one full-time position of Assistant Professor or Instructor of Finance.
There are two application tracks:
•Tenure-track (assistant professor): Requires a Ph.D. in finance or a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in business with a concentration in finance to receive a tenure-track assistant professor appointment. A.B.D. candidates will be considered for a tenure-track appointment, but Ph.D. must be completed by June 30, 2026.
•Non-tenure-track (instructor): Requires a M.A., M.S., or M.B.A. in finance or a related field and completion of a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in finance to receive a non-tenure-track instructor appointment. This is a full-time, three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.

•Curriculum vitae;
•Cover letter which includes a brief statement of teaching philosophy and a discussion about how you incorporate inclusive practices into your teaching. Tenure-track candidates should also include a description of their research and how they incorporate inclusive practices into their research; and
•Applicants must state in their cover letters whether they wish to be considered either for the tenure-track assistant professor position or the non-tenure-track instructor position. Applicants should only apply for one position.
