Economist - Convertible Lease, Inc. (Miami, FL). Gather, analyze, compile & report data to explain economic phenomena & forecast trends using computer software for math, modeling & optimization. Study the socioeconomic impacts of new public policies on the construction & real estate industries. Define data requirements. Gather & validate information applying judgment & tests. Develop & apply time & cost networks to plan, control, & review projects. Formulate mathematical simulations, relating constants & variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, & other factors. Forecast supply & depletion of resources & their effects. Adjust variables per progress to forecast the impact on the company's earnings. Develop & recommend solutions. Follow up with the administration. Report to management. Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Project Manager & MS Office applications required. Knowledge of SIP, ICF, & EVG-3D construction methods is required. Knowledge of economic & accounting principles & practices, & analysis & financial reporting is required. Ability to communicate clearly & ability to formulate solutions are required. Listening, critical thinking, deductive & inductive reasoning are required. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's in Economics & 5 years of experience in the construction industry are a must-have.
