Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) seeks a Senior Research Associate specializing in wealth/retirement to produce high quality research reports, give presentations, and respond to questions about the research. EBRI is a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit research institute that focuses on health, savings, retirement, and economic security issues. For more information go to www.ebri.org. This position is based in Washington, DC with work-at-home flexibility.

Job Responsibilities

• Use multiple data sources and formats to contribute to the EBRI research agenda.
• Lead and independently produce professional research copy and data visualizations.
• Provide supervision and estimate parameters for EBRI’s simulation model RSPM.
• Lead or assist with EBRI annual or custom surveys


Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of producing wealth/retirement research in academic, industry, government, and/or think tank publications.
• Analyzing and interpreting information from large data sets.
• Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Public Policy, or related field.
• Ten years' experience conducting research in the wealth/retirement field with an emphasis on the employment-based system, in a university, government, or industry role.
