Full Text of JOE Listing:

UCD seeks a researcher with a strong agenda at the intersection of behavioural economics and sustainability. They will apply cutting-edge methods of behavioural economics to policy-relevant topics in sustainability. Sustainability is broadly defined, including environment, sustainable economies and behaviours, sustainable development, societal challenges, health, and gender.

They will contribute to UCD's international leadership in sustainability and behavioural economics, contributing to sustainability research, collaborating with interdisciplinary groups, and contributing to large-scale research initiatives across UCD.

The candidate will deliver impact through research, teaching, and outreach. They will teach innovative modules and develop an interdisciplinary module in Behavioural Sustainability. Focusing on applied methods, this module will enhance UCD’s ambition to offer research-led teaching to diverse groups of students.

The candidate will disseminate their research widely and deliver impact through engagement with government agencies, industry, and the community. They will communicate their research to diverse audiences and explain the benefits of behavioural science methods for achieving sustainability goals.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above the Bar Salary Scale: €62,855 - €99,533 pa
