Advanced Academic Programs invites applications for a program coordinator in the Applied Economics program. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, 12-month, renewable faculty position with the academic title of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer.

Faculty responsibilities: teach (in-person/online) 6 graduate courses per year, advise students from diverse backgrounds, provide innovative leadership for curriculum design and new course development, participate in course and program assessment activities, university service.

Administrative responsibilities: participate in adjunct hiring, development, and mentoring, assist in admissions process, assist in planning onsite remote events, seminars.

Minimum qualifications: master’s degree in Economics or a related field, 1-3 years online and/or graduate-level teaching experience, ability to teach wide variety of economics courses.

Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or a related field, four or more years of online and/or graduate-level teaching experience, 1-3 years of economics-related work experience, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and multiple deadlines, excellent oral and written communication skills, experience in helping manage a degree or certificate program.
