The Economic History Program, housed within the Department of Economics and the Economic Growth Center, seeks an exceptional candidate for a Postdoctoral Associate position for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a one-year, full-time appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
This position provides an opportunity for an early-career economist to develop high-impact research in economic history. Associates will participate in the activities of the Yale Economic History program, including faculty seminars, graduate student works-in-progress lunches, workshops and public lectures, and enjoy access to a wide range of other activities throughout the University. Associates should be open to opportunities for research collaboration, and to provide consultations to graduate students interested in economic history.
The program is open to all regardless of citizenship. Applicants must have completed their PhD prior to the start of the position. The salary complies with the Yale Office of Postdoctoral Affairs compensation policy and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
