The Graduate School of Business of Nazarbayev University (NUGSB) has started a search for faculty positions in economics. Hiring will be at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The position is to begin in August 2024. We welcome candidates from any field.

NUGSB was established in 2013 with the help and participation of its strategic partner, Duke University’s Fuqua school of Business, and offers the following degree programs: PhD, Executive MBA, MBA, MSc Finance. NUGSB is a research-intensive business school, offering its faculty generous research time, efficient teaching load, and a highly competitive salary and benefit package (health insurance, child educational allowance, housing benefits, home leave allowance). To support research activities and expand professional networks, NUGSB faculty can spend research time at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Generous internal grants are available on a competitive basis to support research, data collection, conference travel, and international collaborations. According to the UT Dallas global ranking of research-intensive business schools, NUGSB is ranked number one in EURASIA and top 5 globally for young business schools.
