The Department of Economics, Schmidthorst College of Business, invites applications for a tenure track
Assistant Professor position (9-month) with a start date of August 2024. We seek candidates with a strong
background in Microeconomics, preferably with applications to Financial or Behavioral Economics.
Responsibilities will include advanced microeconomics in our Master’s Program, microeconomics for MBAs,
and intermediate and principles of microeconomics. A strong commitment to teaching and significant scholarly
research are necessary conditions for tenure. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (or ABD with
degree completion by August 2024). Also required, documented record of effective teaching at the university
level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations. Preference will be
given to candidates with teaching and research experience related to microeconomics. For a complete job
