Assistant, Associate or Full Professor

The Department of Economics at the University of California Riverside invites applications for a faculty appointment in Econometrics at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, beginning July 1, 2024. The successful candidate would have a state-of-the-art research program and would be a developer of new econometric methods in any area of econometrics. We are particularly interested in candidates working on high dimensional models and machine learning methods.
Candidates for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor must show potential for engaging in outstanding research and developing excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students.
Candidates for a tenured position of Associate or Full Professor must have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and be committed to an active research program.

The salary range for this position is $103,700 -$215,800. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.
