Inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position to work with faculty and students conducting research on health care markets, policy and regulation. During the one or two-year fellowship, the Fellow will work with faculty on ongoing research focused on issues including insurance markets, drug pricing, provider pricing, vertical integration of healthcare organizations, and regulation of health care markets. Supervised by Professor Leemore Dafny, the Fellow will have time for their own complementary research, and access to our data sources in support of their research.
Appointment to begin 7/1/2024 renewable for a second year based on mutual agreement, funding, and performance.
Requirements
A Ph.D. in economics, public policy or a related field.
Successful candidates should have a well-demonstrated interest in applied microeconomic research and strong communication skills. Applicants are expected to have strong analytical and programming skills, and preferably have completed graduate industrial organization courses in an Economics department.
