The Williams College Economics Department invites applications for one visiting faculty position for the 2023-24 academic year, beginning July 1, 2023. Teaching responsibilities would include one section of introductory microeconomics, two electives, and one other course to be determined. Additionally, we seek candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their scholarship, teaching and/or service; and we especially encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups in the field. Candidates should expect to have their Ph.D, or all requirements for the Ph.D. degree completed by July 1, 2024, and we welcome applicants who have recently retired or are on leave from other institutions. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
