The Department of Economics at the Otaru University of Commerce invites applications for one faculty position starting between September 2023 and April 2024 at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure or on the tenure track. Candidates must have outstanding research records in the field of econometric theory or applied econometrics. Candidates should ideally possess a Ph.D. in economics by the time of appointment. The appointee will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate econometrics and related courses in Japanese.
