The position requires the teaching of undergraduate economic courses and significant involvement with teaching focused service, including the management of assessment of learning activities at the College and contributing to activities that support the mission of growing the program. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching experience or expertise in Game Theory and Industrial Organization. Teaching experience in Principles of Economics and/or Economic Decision Analysis and some background in assessment of learning are desirable. A PhD is desirable but exceptional candidates with a master’s degree and candidates near completion of their PhD will be considered.

Required Education, Certifications, Licensures (minimum requirements): Master’s degree in Economics or a related field is required.

Required Experience (minimum requirements): One year of teaching experience.

Desirable Education and/or Experience:
Ph.D. in Economics or a related field.
Two or more years of teaching experience
Teaching experience in Principles of Economics and/or Economic Decision Analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities (minimum requirements): Teaching experience or expertise in Game Theory and Industrial Organization.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries and work harmoniously with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Background in the assessment of learning is desirable.

Appointment Term: 9 months
