Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Sciences and Humanities invites applications for an open-rank full-time faculty position in Environmental Economics beginning August 15, 2023.

SoSH faculty are currently reimagining our curricular offerings and expanding our commitment to teaching about sustainable cities and environmental justice. Ideal candidates will contribute to our emerging work around environmental policy, energy markets, policy, and incentives, anthropogenic environmental disruptions and climate change, resilience and adaptation, human migration, urban development, gender equality, poverty, the interplay between the economy and ecology, and related topics.

This faculty member will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate level Environmental Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Principles of Economics, and additional courses in their area of specialization. Faculty typically teach three 4-credit courses each Fall and Spring semester, with opportunities for additional Summer teaching. Wentworth faculty are teacher-scholars who maintain an active research and publishing agenda while also providing service to the university, community, and discipline.
