Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in the Department of Economics beginning August 2023. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor, depending on qualifications. Appointment is for nine months (August - May). This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate in Economics or a related field. Teaching experience is required. Teaching load is 3/3. Candidates will be expected to teach statistics, environmental economics, and/or other classes such as econometrics or electives in their field. Use of the programming language R for classroom applications and student workshops while teaching statistics is strongly preferred. The complete job ad can be found at Interfolio.
