The University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics invites applications for two full-time business analytics lecturer positions (non-tenure eligible, nine-month renewable appointment) starting Fall 2023. New faculty will also be affiliated with the academic department that best fits their background and expertise. Responsibilities will include teaching multiple courses in areas such as introduction to business analytics, business intelligence and visualization, data management, data mining, and data modeling. While the primary responsibility is teaching, the successful candidate may also oversee a business analytics tutoring lab, provide technology instruction to faculty and staff, help administer academic programs, and advise the business analytics club. Specific courses and other assigned duties will be determined by the Director, the Dean’s Office, and the faculty member.

While a terminal degree in analytics or a related field is preferred, candidates with an appropriate master’s degree and substantial relevant professional experience will be considered.
