The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Economics, beginning in Fall 2023.

Teaching assignments can vary but may include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics and courses in the candidate’s field. Preference will be given to candidates who have skills and working knowledge of Python, R, machine learning, data mining and/or data warehousing.

Teaching load is nine hours per semester.

Faculty are expected to pursue research that leads to publications in refereed journals.

Other duties include participation in service at the department, college, and university levels; student advising, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Economics from an accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered, provided there is evidence that degree is near completion.
