The Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics comprises three research areas: Management Information Systems, Operations Management, and Business Economics. The Department now invites applications for teaching-track position in the area of Business Economics commencing Fall 2023.

For Senior Lecturer, applicants should have (i) at least a Master’s degree (preferably a doctoral degree) in Economics, or related disciplines (by the time reporting for duty); and (ii) at least 10 years' post-Master/ at least 8 years’ post-doctoral relevant experience.

For Lecturer, applicants should have (i) at least a Master’s degree (preferably a doctoral degree) in Economics, or related disciplines (by the time reporting for duty); and (ii) 4 years’ post-Master relevant experience. Applicants who possess a doctoral degree with less experience will also be considered.

Applicants should also have demonstrated ability for high quality teaching of undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses. The appointee will teach courses in the area of Business Economics.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one to two years commencing August 2023, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
