The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa invites highly qualified candidates to apply for a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Environmental Economics. Candidates with expertise in empirical or theoretical aspects of environmental economics, including climate change, air pollution, natural resources, and energy are sought. The ideal candidate will have a world-class research program, an ambitious research agenda, as well as strong experience in actively connecting academic research to the policy process. The Chair will implement a creative and independent research program that is based on external research funding and will be actively involved with graduate student training and education. The Chair will be jointly appointed to the Department of Economics and the Institute of the Environment, and will be expected to supervise graduate students and teach in both units.
