The Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University invites applications for a tenure-track, full-time appointment as Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance beginning August 2023.


Responsibilities
Candidates must have the ability and interest in teaching several finance courses offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance. The ability to teach Fundamentals of Finance (ACFN 310), Financial Modeling and Analysis (ACFN 333), and/or Advanced Corporate Finance (ACFN 363) will enhance the candidate’s application but is not required. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three 4-credit courses each semester.


Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in finance or a closely related field (e.g., financial economics) PLUS internationally recognized license or certification such as CFA, CFP, CPA, etc. Doctoral candidates do not need the additional license or certification. ABDs are welcome to apply.
Ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate level.
Ability and interest in teaching several finance courses offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and to equity, inclusion, and diversity in working with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
A commitment to undergraduate education in a liberal arts environment.
