Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is located in Chengdu, China, a historic city of rich Chinese culture and a place well-known as "the land of abundance". The university, with a history of 97 year, is one of the top universities specialized in economics, finance, and management in China. It is among the first batch in the "211" and the "Double First-Class" universities credited by Chinese Ministry of Education and has cultivated many famous Chinese economists.

School of International Business (SIB) specializes in the international economics, international trade, and international business, with more than 40 faculty members holding Ph.Ds degrees from well-known overseas and Chinese universities. SIB is currently one of the leading institutions in these fields in China, and the only institution in the central and western China offering under and postgraduate degrees in both International Economics and International Business.

SIB invites applicants worldwide for full-time, tenure-track positions with specializations in international economics, international trade, international business, international finance and open-economy macroeconomics. A Qualified applicant should have a Ph.D or should be expected to receive it before September 2023.

Compensation is competitive, and negotiable for candidates with strong research records. Sufficient research fund and facilities will be provided.
