Assistant Professor - Economics - Applied Microeconomic Theory

Syracuse University’s Department of Economics seeks to fill a tenure track position in applied microeconomic theory at the Assistant or Advanced Assistant level. Candidates should have research interests in at least one of the following applied micro fields: international trade, labor economics, public economics, development economics, and urban and regional economics.

Candidates must have completed (or expect to complete prior to appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics or related field. We seek a strong researcher with the ability to advise doctoral students and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomic theory and their relevant applied micro field. Experienced candidates should have a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, including publishing in core peer reviewed economics journals.
