Syracuse University’s Department of Economics seeks to fill a tenure track or tenured position in public economics at the Assistant or Associate level, building on the department’s longstanding strength and commitment to public economics and related fields. While all areas of public economics will be considered, preference will be given to individuals with interest in state and local public finance. Candidates must have completed (or expect to complete prior to appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics or related field. We seek a strong researcher with the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public economics, and to advise doctoral students. Experienced candidates should have a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, including publishing in core peer reviewed economics journals.
