Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Enterprise Strategy Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Economic Forecasting Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to advise internal stakeholders at all levels on economic questions, ideas, and issues, providing analysis & context.

Reporting to the Forecasting Manager the person in this role will support the Enterprise Strategy Market Insights group´s objective to provide an understanding of the company´s operating environment, now and into the future.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and finalize the short, mid, and long-term U.S. Economic Outlook and scenarios as needed (for Annual Plan and Long Term Outlook) through Enterprise Strategy and Toyota North America Sr. Management.

Analyze economic data releases and compile periodic reports, including quarterly economic monitoring, monthly economic updates for communications/sales team, and monthly economic update for industry assessment.

Produce brief and in-depth thematic studies to aid in research/forecasting/scenario planning.

Responsible for identifying emerging economic (and Economic-adjacent) issues and elevating to senior management with thought pieces (i.e. flash reports).

Support range of executive ad hoc requests related to economic and related topics (e.g. trade & tariffs, societal trends, business conditions, etc.).
