Adjunct Professor to teach Special Project Course (Master’s level)

New York University Arts and Science

The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts and Science is looking to hire one or more part-time, non-tenure track, Adjunct Professors to teach the “Special Project in Economic Research” course in the Master of Arts program in the spring 2023 semester, pending budgetary and administrative approval. This course is a capstone course in the final semester of the program that requires students to integrate advanced coursework and to apply quantitative empirical methods. The position entails teaching two hours per week in person, beginning January 23rd, 2023. The Professor is expected to be available to students and to hold office hours. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics, a track record of economic research in the years following completion of the PhD, and evidence of excellent and inclusive teaching experience at university level.
