The Financial Stability Oversight Council at the U.S. Treasury is hiring a Director of Analysis. The FSOC is looking to recruit an experienced professional who will help lead the Council’s risk monitoring efforts and oversee the development of economic and financial analysis on a range of critical financial stability issues. The Director of Analysis will lead on a number of critical workstreams, including producing research and analysis work products, senior level briefings, and the FSOC’s Annual Report to Congress. S/he will manage a team of policy advisors, analysts, and economists. The ideal candidate must have a track record of developing financial stability analysis, excellent written and analytical skills, and experience leading a team. Collaboration with staff from multiple government agencies, and working with a broad range of stakeholders, will be a key component of the role. Note this is a Senior Executive position in the federal government, and the Director of Analysis will report directly to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the FSOC.
