The Department of Economics at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time pre-doctoral fellow at the rank of Staff Associate I for the period of July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024 to work with the faculty of the Department of Economics at Columbia University. Initial appointment is for one year with renewal for a second year based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. The position will be based at Columbia University in New York City. The predoctoral fellow will work under the direction of a faculty member. The fellowship will include a variety of tasks that provide preparation for graduate school, such as analyzing data, developing statistical models, creating presentations, and editing research papers. The fellows will interact regularly with professors and their collaborators. The program serves as an ideal bridge between college and graduate school for students interested in economics. Salary will be competitive.
