The School of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, one-year position as a Visiting Lecturer in macroeconomics, beginning August 1, 2022, with the possibility of a one-year extension subject to budget availability and satisfactory performance. Teaching responsibilities will consist of six courses for the academic year, although course preps will be four or fewer due to duplicate sections of the same course. Courses are likely to include a mix of introductory and intermediate economics courses including electives relevant to the candidate’s expertise and potentially a graduate course. A statement of teaching philosophy is required, along with demonstrated excellence in instruction as evidenced by teaching evaluations in relevant courses. Candidates should have a PhD in economics, or all requirements for the Ph.D. degree completed by August 1, 2022.
